STANDLEY

New - Four School Site Governance Parent RepresentativeS Needed!
The Standley Site Governance Team (SGT) has four parent positions up for election this year. The SGT is responsible for the discussion, advising, and decision-making regarding very important school management issues. Members of SGT include the principal, teachers, other school personnel, and parents/community members. The membership meets 6-8 times a year usually before school. Members are elected by their constituent groups (parents by parents, teachers by teachers), and serve for two years, at which point they can run again if they desire. This year, there are four parent positions up for election.

Please consider running for these very important positions! If you would like to run, please download the nomination form, fill in the bottom portion and return to your child's advisory teacher by Wednesday, October 29, 2008. The ballot will be sent home the following week.
