IMC/TMC Now Open Weekends |
The Instructional Media Center (IMC) and Teachers’ Media Center (TMC) are now open on weekends: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Weekday hours will be Monday-Thursday, from 2-6 p.m. Both centers will be closed on Fridays. More than 500,000 instructional items including books, exhibits, CD-ROMs, videos, and equipment are available. Please Note: Saturday, August 23, will be the first day that materials can be checked out for the new school year. - Discover Program Course Offerings
Take advantage of the great professional development opportunities offered by the Discover Program throughout the 2008-09 school year. Please note: The Strengthening Your Curriculum! class had been rescheduled to August 18-20. Be sure to register early. Classes are held based on the number of registrations. - Earth Science (K-5) Make-up Day

- Free Kids Day
The San Diego Unified Police Department and STAR/PAL are organizing a Free Kids Day

- New ERAA Back to School Conference & Festival
The New Everybody Recommitting to Academic Achievement Conference (ERAA) is holding its fourth annual Back-to-School Conference & Festival on Saturday, August 23, at Lincoln High School. The theme of this free conference is “Students Achieving and Succeeding” and its goal is to help parents and students activate their knowledge, skills, and resources to work together to achieve and succeed.
