July Certificated Post and Bid Opens Tomorrow |
The July Post and Bid for Certificated positions will open tomorrow, July 1, and close Thursday, July 10. All certificated bargaining unit members who are employed as of July 1, 2008, are eligible to apply. Mileage Reimbursement for District Travel Increases July 1 |
Effective July 1, 2008, the Internal Revenue Service standard mileage reimbursement rate will be increased to 58.5 cents per mile. In agreement with the employee union contracts and the past practice of the district, the mileage reimbursement rate for district business travel will also increase to 58.5 cents per miles. Change in Office Depot Online Ordering Process |
As of July 1, the start of the FY 2008-09, all Office Depot online ordering will be done through PeopleSoft Direct Connect site. All current requesters within the PeopleSoft Financial system are able to access Office Depot Direct Connect for processing a requisition. The shopping experience on Office Depot Direct Connect remains basically the same. Please Note: Restricted items (over $500.00, etc.) can still be ordered using a PeopleSoft Special Request E-Pro requisition. IMC/TMC Weekend Hours Begin July 7 |
Beginning Monday, July 7, the Instructional Media Center (IMC) and Teachers’ Media Center (TMC) will be open on weekends. Weekend hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Weekday hours will be Monday-Thursday, from 2-6 p.m. Both centers will be closed on Fridays. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of the weekend hours. More than 500,000 instructional items including books, exhibits, CD-ROMs, videos, and equipment are available. The theme of this free conference is “Students Achieving and Succeeding” and its purpose is to help parents and students activate their knowledge, skills, and resources to work together to achieve and succeed.
