Message from the Superintendent

Hello San Diego Unified families. This is Superintendent Carl Cohn with an update about our schools.

We are planning to reopen schools on Tuesday, October 30th, as long as conditions continue to improve. Based on a review of air quality, the condition of our classrooms and our campuses, and the availability of our staff, Tuesday looks like our best opportunity to get things back to normal.

As long as your personal circumstances permit, please have your children back at school, ready to learn, on Tuesday morning. We look forward to having them back.
