Emergency Response Message from the Superintendent
October 22, 2007

Hello San Diego Unified families. This is Superintendent Carl Cohn, with an important emergency response message. Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 23rd, all schools and extended day programs in the San Diego Unified School District will be closed due to the fires. We are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated daily. Five child development centers will be available for emergency childcare tomorrow. A phone line is available to answer parents’ questions regarding school closures at (619) 725–8140. For tomorrow, please keep your children safely indoors with limited physical activity.
