Zangle Year-end Close  07/22/2008 - 12:20  Zangle Front Office will be off-line for year-end closing activities from Friday July 25th @ 5:00pm until Sunday July 27th @ 5:00pm. Zangle Teacher Connect will remain on-line and available for summer school teachers during this time. SDCOE network maintenance on May 10  05/09/2008 - 09:47  SDCOE Network Services will be performing router maintenance on Sunday, May 10 from 12:00-4:00 pm. You may experience some brief interruptions during this time. IT Maintenance  03/19/2008 - 16:08  IT will be performing maintenance on storage arrays which will require down time for PeopleSoft as scheduled below: PeopleSoft Financials Production:Unavailable from 8:00AM to 8:00PM Saturday, April 19th This will affect FIN89PRD only PeopleSoft HCM Production: Unavailable from 8:00AM to 8:00PM Saturday, April 26th This will affect HCM89PRD only Report Cards/Transcripts  02/08/2008 - 11:56  Sites can start requesting transcripts Monday, 2/11. The handout (school) copies of the report cards will be available for pickup on Monday, 2/11. Report card mailers should begin arriving at student’s homes on Wednesday, 2/13. PeopleSoft Bundles 18-20  02/08/2008 - 09:53  IT will be applying PeopleSoft Bundles 18-20 this Sunday (Feb 10,2008). These bundles contain fixes that will not affect the functionality of end-users after they have been applied. The system will be unavailable during this upgrade. IT Winter Maintenance  12/10/2007 - 08:04  The Information Technology Department will be performing system-wide maintenance during the Winter break. This maintenance will incur brief outages of various District Wide Applications. Please mark your calendars with the following dates and times of expected downtime of these district applications: PeopleSoft / Zangle / Encore Access will not be available from 11:30 p.m., December 29th to 8:00 p.m., January 4th. Exchange/Email Access will not be available from 8:00 a.m., January 2nd to 8:00 p.m., January 4th. Thank you for your cooperation during this necessary maintenance period. The IT Department extends its best to you and yours during this upcoming holiday season! Congratulations  11/20/2007 - 11:12  Congratulations to Julie Kapelczak who recently passed her MCSE exams! Way to go Julie. Welcome Jessie  11/20/2007 - 11:09  Welcome to Jessie Pinto who has recently joined the IT department. Jessie is a System Analyst that will be supporting the On-Site Support team. She comes to us with a vast amount of experience and will be a great asset to the team. Optiman  10/31/2007 - 12:55  The IT department is currently upgrading the Wide Area Network (WAN) at all of the high schools and middle schools. Schools will be upgraded to a fiber connection called 'Optiman' with a bandwidth of 50Mb. Optiman technology will allow the district to increase bandwidth at these school sites as demand for bandwidth grows without having to do any further construction. At most schools, we will be able to install the 'Optiman' fiber without having to trench. Schools that will be affected by trenching, will be notified in advance and a plan will be coordinated to minimize the impact to the school. We will notify schools of their 'turn-up' date once we have completed and certified a light test. All high schools and middle schools will be completed by December 31, 2007.
