Gage is
committed to providing a rigorous instructional program that
strengthens student achievement. Our teachers are experienced
and dedicated professionals, who work and study together regularly
to refine curriculum and hone their instructional practice.
Together with parents and community support we provide quality
instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students.
Students
at Gage Elementary School must be literate, critical thinkers
so that they will be able to fully participate in today’s
society. They must understand that there are many sides to an
issue. When they read a book, an article, or pamphlet, they
will be thinking…"What is this author really trying
to tell me? Does the author have an agenda?"
We, also,
recognize that accomplishing our goal of achievement for all
students takes continuous work from the entire community--staff,
parents and students alike. We hope to create an environment
where everyone can become involved and feel welcome.
