Carl A. Cohn San Diego is becoming nationally known for its new small career-themed high schools that engage students and personalize their education. Students at these 14 schools no longer feel lost in the crowd. Teachers, administrators, counselors and support staff not only know their names, they know how each student is doing and work as a close-knit learning team to prepare each student for college and high-tech careers. For the first time, students are realizing that someone cares about their education and is totally committed to their success. We look forward to having more students benefit from this kind of highly motivating instruction and personalized assistance. They will excel in high school and beyond. We are grateful to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for investing in our students and their future.
