The
John Muir Magnet School for Global Citizenship in Clairemont
is a small public school that provides an excellent education
in a small, family-like setting. The K-12 grade span and smaller
class sizes promote a family atmosphere and the school offers
a curriculum designed to build responsible and productive global
citizens. Special projects, online and in person, connect our
students with their peers throughout the world.
The school
is on a 4X4 schedule, which means high school students can earn
sixteen credits per year instead of the traditional twelve, allowing
time for additional electives and internships.
High school students have:
- A rigorous
standards-based curriculum enriched by projects

or Spanish classes up to fifth year
