Magnet Secondary Schools

Secondary Magnet Schools offer concentrated instruction in specific Magnet themes. In addition to rigorous academics, high school magnets also offer students the opportunity to participate in regional Occupation Programs (ROP). These ROP courses allow students to explore and prepare for career options ranging from entry-level positions to professions requiring college degrees.

Students who are involved in magnet programs are eligible to participate in athletics. Specific information regarding whether or not a student can be granted immediate athletic eligibility can be obtained from the school's magnet program resource teacher. Please refer to the telephone number listed with each school.

Click on any of the schools to the left to learn more about their secondary magnet program.
