When choosing a school for your child consider the following four components to a highly effective Magnet:

• Curricular themes are defined, appealing and distinctive
• Principals and staff members are committed to delivering the theme as advertised
• Instruction is regularly reviewed for rigor and fairness that draws students
• Community is made aware of the magnet and a recruitment effort is made
