• A crisis such as a fire or serious student incident occurs at your school site. Notify Communications immediately even when the police or fire department are not involved.
• Media arrive at your school site unexpectedly. The office can provide guidance and advise the site staff about how to handle this type of situation.
• You have invited the media to attend a school event.
• You have an exciting school event or activity that should be included in Staff Bulletin, Newsline, or on the website.
• You have any media-related questions.

Please inform the Government Relations Office at (619) 725-7086 when local, state or federal elected officials (e.g., Mayor, City Council members, Senators, etc.) are invited or expected to attend your school event.
